Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your safety always comes first. If schools in the area are closed due to dangerous driving conditions, Studio 3 will cancel all classes scheduled up until noon. Any afternoon or evening classes will be evaluated as the day goes on, and we’ll keep you updated.

If schools are closed for driving conditions but we are still able to hold afternoon classes, there will be no late-cancellation penalty if you cannot make it to class. No-show penalties still apply.

If schools are closed due to extreme cold only, we will remain open and classes will run as scheduled.

We’ll always communicate updates as early as possible via email, SMS (if you are opted in) and Instagram.

  • Grip socks are required for all reformer classes to keep things safe, clean, and comfortable for everyone. They help with stability on the equipment and are part of our studio standard.

For mat classes, grip socks are optional.

If you need a pair of grip socks, we have a lot of really cute options available for purchase in the studio.

  • Because we keep our classes small and our reformers limited, we have a 12-hour cancellation window so everyone has a fair chance to get into class.

You can cancel or make changes up to 12 hours before class with no penalty.

If you cancel within 12 hours of class start time, it will be considered a late cancellation:

    • Class packs & monthly memberships: 1 class credit will be deducted

    • Unlimited memberships: $10 late cancellation fee

If you don’t attend and don’t cancel, it will be marked as a no-show:

    • Class packs & monthly memberships: 1 class credit will be deducted

    • Unlimited memberships: $10 no-show fee

We appreciate you giving us as much notice as possible — it helps instructors, waitlisted clients, and keeps the studio running smoothly.

*Because unlimited memberships don’t have a set number of classes to deduct from, no-shows and late cancellations are handled a little differently. Instead of losing a class credit, unlimited members are charged a $10 fee.

This helps keep things fair for everyone and ensures reformer spots aren’t held and left unused — especially since our classes are small and in high demand.

  • If a class is full, you can join the waitlist and be added as soon as a spot opens. Here’s how it works behind the scenes:

More than 12 hours before class
If someone cancels, the first person on the waitlist is automatically added to the class. You’ll receive both a text and an email letting you know you’ve been moved into the class, with a reminder to cancel if you can’t make it. Standard cancellation policies apply once you’re added.

    Within 2 hours of class
If a spot opens, it will go out to everyone on the waitlist via a text message with a booking link. The spot goes to the first person who clicks and books, so you can decide if it works for your schedule. You’ll only receive an email if you successfully book the class.

  • Your month begins on the date of your first payment and renews on that same date each month. For example, if your first payment is on January 18, your current cycle runs through February 17, and then renews on February 18. Any classes included in your plan can be used within that time frame.

  • Not at all. While our Foundations class is a great place to start, every class at Studio 3 is designed to be fully adaptable to your experience level. Our instructors are there to guide you, offer options, and help you feel confident and supported every step of the way — whether it’s your first class or your fiftieth.
